Hi. I’m Caitlin.
Here’s the brutal truth about sales: it’s really freakin’ simple. What makes it hard is understanding the psychology of it.
The founders closing the most deals, collecting the most cash, AND who have high retention and resign rates understand their prospect on a deeper psychological level.
Most sales programs are teaching rebuttals, challenges, and ‘obstacle overcomes’ to win the sale.
But what I’ve found is that getting those prospects across the line takes heavy lifting. And then a day later, they're emailing support asking for a refund.
What works is being able to see where the prospect is coming from, hear what they’re saying between the lines, build a level of trust with them so they allow their beliefs to be challenged.
But the thing is - you're showing up on the call with just as much head trash and emotions as your prospects.
So what was once a really ‘simple’ sales conversation.. is now 2 humans going head to head with a bunch of their emotions, the stories they’re telling themselves, the logic they’ve used to justify those stories, and their ego.
Do you think rebuttals, or a script that doesn’t have that particular human in mind, is really going to combat all of that?
For a select few who are the type of buyer ready to buy… sure.
But for the other 80%… not at all.
And that’s where my approach to sales comes in.
I studied psychology for 6 years, I have my doctorate, and my behavioral psychology research was published in a medical journal.
So I know what makes humans tick.
Why do we do what we do, what reinforces us, what pushes us closer to or further from our goals, and what do we respond best to?
We all know prospects tend to get in their own way when it comes to a buying decision.
And you also have your own things going on.
E.g., what’s going through your head when you're 0 for 7 on calls this week and the prospect just said ‘I need to think about it’?
Everything comes down to learned behavior.
So..maybe you're thinking "how tf do I apply this to my sales call??"

It’s simple.
You let go of what you’re ‘supposed’ to do.
You have a conversation with the human in front of you.
You put THEM first.
And when you see them getting in their own way- you show them the mirror so they can walk themselves up and forward.
That's what we cover in How to Double Your Close Rate Without Memorizing More Scripts or Objections.
